Welcome to our blog! Our team is made up of 4 key members: Ryan Liang - Community Service as Action Coordinator/teacher Sarah Mcskimming - Personal Project Coordinator/Geography teacher Daniela Cauduro - Interdisciplinary Coordinator/Teacher-Librarian PJ Lavoie - Middle Years Program IB Coordinator/teacher Johnston Heights Secondary is a large school of about 1400 students located in Surrey, British Columbia. Our student population is very diverse which enables us to enjoy a very rich learning environment. We have recently been authorized as an IB school and as a result, we are the largest school with a Middle Years IB Program in the BC. T he IB program believes in action and service as integral parts of the program. (IBO, 2017) This project will enable students to take action by applying their learning in making a positive impact on the lives of people in the Johnston Heights community.
